Animal Kingdom Foundation, Inc. is a rescue and rehabilitation center for dogs in Capas, Tarlac. You have probably heard them from the news before - rescuing dogs from those trucks and vans that were bound to kill and sell them in places like Baguio City, etc.
Their shelter has over a hundred dogs looking for new families and homes.
With all the animal cruelty that is happening right now in the Philippines, they wanted to, again, step forward and put an end to this once and for all.
Last July 31, 2016, they held a fun run called #RunFurLife at the Quezon City Memorial Circle- a fundraising event for all the rescued dogs to promote an end to the illegal dog meat trade. The two dog groups I belong to, the Dog Walkers Club of Tarlac and the Philippine Golden Retrievers, participated in the event. It was enjoyable! I'm proud to say that the event was a success!
Here are some photos my husband and I took during the event. Just look at those smiles!
